It was suppose to be a play on words for Raiden and his currently un-named rider. They are constantly under control by the military but the only time they can be free is in the air.
In this scene Raiden and his rider take a friend and her young daughter up in the air on the fourth of July. It is suppose to be pretty and sweet, but sadly this is where all of the sad stuff starts.. T.T
